Greenpoint Pictures

A few weekends I walked around northern Greenpoint –  a place where I have lived for about a year but still have not greatly explored – and took pictures along the way. The area is mostly industrial but is becoming more residential.

Two above taken at the Newton Creek Nature Walk. This provides water access to Newton Creek – the first to do so in decades. Newton Creek may be most well known for the area’s issue with pollution and 17 t0 30 million gallon oil spill in 1950.
